Yeah, but I think Lafiel could easily be infuriating because she isn't an idealist and she honestly had a bit of a sheltered upbringing when it came to exposure to different philosophies: she knows not everyone thinks like her*, but she's pretty bad at thinking about why they do.
* And hell, her best friend in canon wasn't raised as an Abh noble, so even he sometimes confuses her.
